Profiles now include Friday-focused release stats, including a “bravery” score that summarizes how often releases land on Fridays within the selected period. This update also refreshes parts of the profile UI for clearer, more responsive layouts, and adds production-only Trustviews script loading.
Profile Hero Summary and Share Range Defaults
Profiles now include richer hero data, including first and last name fields and a generated summary you can show near the top of the page. Sharing also behaves more predictably, if you do not provide a date range, it will automatically use the current month, while still validating invalid or partial ranges.
New Profile Share Page and Links
Sharing a profile is now simpler and more consistent. A new share endpoint provides a structured summary of key stats for a selected date range, and the frontend adds a dedicated share page with a shorter redirect wait time. Share options were also refreshed with a popover and clearer message formatting.
Profile Social Links and Safer Live Feed
Profiles can now show optional social links, including Twitter, LinkedIn, and a personal website, making it easier to share where you work and what you are building. The live public events feed is easier to read, pauses toasts while you hover, and better protects private repository details.
Public Events Stream and Streak Leaderboard
This release adds a public events stream you can subscribe to for live activity updates, with an opt-in setting to control participation. It also introduces a new streak leaderboard view and refreshes the leaderboard UI, including clearer messaging and a relocated GitRank badge in the site footer.
GitHub Activity Timeline and Privacy Settings
Profiles now include a GitHub activity timeline, giving you a clearer view of recent work with richer event context. Settings also gained a simpler privacy control for including private repositories, and “Active Days” sparklines now track cumulative active days over time for easier trend reading.
