v1.2.6

Public Events Stream and Streak Leaderboard

Feature UI Frontend

This update focuses on making GitRank feel more live and more informative. You can now follow activity as it happens, and compare consistency with a new streak-based leaderboard.

New Capabilities

A new public events stream is now available, so you can subscribe to live updates as activity happens. This is designed for real-time displays and lightweight clients that want a continuous feed.

You can also control whether your activity is included via a new setting, public events, which is available in your user settings.

Leaderboard and UI Updates

A new streak leaderboard has been added, making it easier to see who is maintaining consistent activity over time. This complements the existing leaderboard views with a consistency-focused ranking.

The leaderboard section has been refreshed with updated layout and clearer presentation for users, including refined avatar and score display. Copy in the leaderboard area was also cleaned up by removing the sign-in requirement notice, time estimate, and results sync notice.

The GitRank badge has been moved to the site footer for better visibility, and a reusable ProgressBar component is now used in the monthly digest and related pages for more consistent visuals.
