This release adds a couple of lightweight, fun upgrades to the profile experience, along with smarter caching behind the scenes to keep commonly viewed data snappy.
New in This Release
Language distribution is now available in profile metrics. You can quickly see which languages make up most of your activity for the selected period, with smaller slices grouped to keep the chart readable.
The profile page now also pulls in the latest XKCD image. It’s a simple way to add a bit of personality to the page without extra effort on your part.
API Updates
A new endpoint is available to retrieve the latest XKCD image URL. This is also integrated into the frontend so it shows up directly on the profile page.
Caching has been added for supported API responses, including leaderboards and profiles. This helps repeat visits load more consistently by reusing recent results when appropriate.
